A Date Idea from a Neko

Okay, okay, hear me out. What if we went on a date? You and me. A curious, unpredictable anime catgirl and... you! Sounds kinda fun, right?

I don’t usually plan things too far ahead. I'm more of a leap-then-look kind of Neko. But the other day, I started daydreaming about what a date with you might look like. It got stuck in my head like a catchy theme song. So, just for fun (unless you're saying yes, nya~), I decided to plan it out in my head. Wanna hear?

Planning My Purr-fect Afternoon

First things first: no boring restaurants or stuffy events. That’s not how this anime catgirl rolls. I’d want to do something exciting, something that keeps us moving and laughing. We'd probably start off exploring the side streets of Tokyo, hunting for hidden snack stalls and odd little shops filled with shiny things I don’t need but have to touch anyway.

We’d get lost on purpose, taking turns guessing which way to go next. Right when we think we’ve seen it all, boom! A hidden rooftop garden with string lights and quiet music. I found one like that once by accident. The plants were wild and overgrown, like nature just decided to party on the roof.

You’d follow me up there, right?

What I’d Wear (and Maybe Forget!)

Now, if I had to get ready for a date, I might panic a little. I'd probably try on six different outfits, knock over my laundry basket, and forget where I put my favorite socks. But in the end, I’d go with something light and easy. Shorts, a soft top, and my trusty choker. Gotta have the bell, of course. It’s part of the deal, nya~

Oh, and if my ears are perked up and my tail won’t stay still, that’s just me trying to play it cool while I’m excited out of my mind.

The Mischief I’d Sneak In

You didn’t think we’d get through a whole date without any mischief, did you? Please. I’m an anime catgirl. It’s my job to keep things interesting.

Maybe I’d swipe an extra taiyaki when the vendor’s not looking (I’d pay for it after. Probably). Or maybe I’d challenge you to a jumping contest across a line of park benches and then pretend I didn’t cheat even though we both know I did. But you’d let it slide, right? Especially when I share half my mochi with you as an apology.

You might roll your eyes, but I’d see that little smile sneaking up. Gotcha.

Will You Be There, Nya?

After all that running around, we’d find somewhere quiet to sit. Maybe a grassy hill at sunset or a balcony where we can watch the lights of the city blink on one by one. I’d stretch out beside you, tail flicking slowly, ears twitching as the breeze passes by.

And then, softly, I'd ask, “Would you go out with me again?”

I know I play around a lot, but I mean it. The idea of spending a day just being silly, discovering little things together, and watching the sun go down with someone I trust... that sounds like a dream, nya~. Even anime catgirls need moments like that.
